At Warthog Barbeque Pit, barbeque isn’t just food - it’s tradition, family, and craftsmanship. Founded by Tacoma native Gary Kurashima, also known as “Mr. Warthog,” our story is built on over 35 years of restaurant experience throughout the Pacific Northwest. From the rugged kitchens of Alaska to the vibrant food culture of Washington, Gary mastered the art of slow-cooked, smoky, flavor-packed barbeque.
What began as a labor of love quickly grew into a local favorite in Fife, where we proudly serve up generous portions of hickory-smoked ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and all the classic fixings. At Warthog BBQ, everything is made from scratch - from our rich, tangy sauces to our freshly baked cornbread and hearty sides.
